I stayed in Hotel Marlowe in 2011 for a conference related to an organization I was a member of. From the time you arrive at the hotel, whether through Super Shuttle, cab, or in your own vehicle, the staff is friendly. Concierge immediately picks up your items and brings them to the front desk. Nothing is expected of you. Hotel Marlowe's upstairs meeting space is small, but homely and welcoming. We had about two meeting spaces, which was one big space separated by a partition. They were both big and comfortable. There were about 500 attendees and the seminar rooms never felt overcrowded. The area outside of the meeting spaces, where we convened when the partitions were being taken down, was quite small. It wasn't really comfortable and many times, attendees would head back to their rooms to escape the cluster. The hotel rooms were nice, big, and clean. I didn't have any issues. Walking through the garage out the side of the hotel, you were only a few steps away from a decent size mall. It was great for souvenir shopping. This place is great for conferences. The staff is friendly. The rooms are nice. The seminar space is large. The food is EXCELLENT! And you can pick up gifts for your family and friends without having to call a cab to go downtown--but if you need one, just ask the concierge and they'll fetch one immediately!
