New York Jukebox doesn't provide a conventional DJ service. We offer a very, very fun and distinctive alternative. New York Jukebox rents classic jukeboxes that play real 45rpm records. It's a 5 speaker model from 1954, made to fill a busy room with sound. (It can also be connected to a sound system, at no extra charge.) You can see the records selected and playing. The jukebox is a jaw-dropping beauty, and it can be set on free play if you wish. Even better, though, a jukebox is interactive because the guests choose the records themselves. A jukebox breaks the ice, gets people chatting, and starts the party. It never fails to generate a good mood, and people of every age and background love it. You probably don't really need a guy with a mic. We have thousands and thousands of records from which to draw, and records are selected specifically to suit the occasion and the tastes of you and your guests. We can deliver classic oldies, rock, pop and soul of the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and beyond, reggae, hip-hop, jazz, country, punk rock, etc. We have special kid-friendly playlists, love and romance playlists, party anthems and love to get creative in finding records that are perfect for you. The base rate for an event rental is $580, including records and delivery in New York City. Additional fees apply outside New York.
