The rental fee for an event at the Greenpoint Loft in the 2020 calendar year is $10,000 for a Saturday, $8,000 for a Friday or Sunday, and $6,000 for a Monday-Thursday. All remaining 2019 Fridays-Sunday dates are $1,000 less than our 2020 rates.
Half of the total rental fee along with a signed agreement is required to confirm a rental of the location. A $1000 refundable security deposit is required with the second half of the rental fee a month prior to your event.
Our pricing is for a 14-hour rental duration, usually starting at 11:00 AM and ending at 1:00 AM. There is no flexibility on the 1:00 AM end time.
The client or caterer is required to provide an event insurance policy naming the space and building entity as additionally insured for the day with a "host liquor liability" component included if you wish to serve alcohol at an open bar.
The venue offers a limited amount of in-house table and chair rental options ($3 per red mahogany resin folding chair and $10 per 60" round table, plus tax, with counts to seat approximately 185 people). If in-house furniture is used it is stacked in the space at the start of your rental period with the client being responsible for set up and breakdown. In most cases, all of your outside equipment will need to be delivered and picked up on the event day.
The Greenpoint Loft is equipped with a four stall men’s room and a four stall women’s room. There is a built-in bar area with running water on the main level of the loft space. We do not have in-house A/V equipment at the Greenpoint Loft.
We have no restrictions on vendors aside from security, WiFi, and valet, but caterers that are new to working at the venue are required to tour before the event date. There is a kitchen prep area for the catering's set-up and storage. Our kitchen prep space has equipment with running water, sink, fridge, some counter space, and limited electricity. The venue does not provide in-house catering, linens, glassware, flatware, or decor. The venue has a coat check area and separate changing areas outside of the main space.
The venue must be cleaned and emptied of all garbage upon completion of the event, which can be done by the caterer or the client.
