Well, the scenery is gorgeous. They have flowers, to vineyards, and even fountains. It's a really great place to take pictures for a special event. The fancy decor inside the Chateau is just magnificent. The food there is probably the best food I have ever tasted. If that isn't enough than there is also a golf course, spa, and even a hotel. It makes you feel like you are in Europe on a beautiful estate like in France or Italy. I would definitely recommend this venue for a wedding. Every thing will turn out to be a okay. The chateau treats everyone with respect, very behaved, and very well mannered. The Chateau has a winery. From these lush vines of Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet & Riesling grapes has grown a 3,500 acre conference and leisure destination where French provincial and Southern hospitality combine to produce exceptional wines and warm memories. The bride and groom can also sleep overnight or after the wedding is finished since the hotel rooms are just so pristine. For breakfast, you pay around $20 or so and get unlimited top of the line cuisine foods. So in essence, the Chateau is a where dreams come true and where the fantasies turn into reality. There are so many fun, excited, and relaxing activities to do at the Chateau Elan, especially beautiful weddings. The price is pretty hefty, but I mean come on would you just look at all those activities and such. I hope you choose this venue for the wedding.

I had a amazing wedding their, so I'll speak to the wedding venue aspect first since that's what I experienced the most of.The grounds are beautiful and the options for where you want your ceremony and reception are plentiful. Inside, outside, vineyard, lawn, garden, atrium, etc.From a photographer's perspective it is a playground of different places for pictures, each with a slightly different vibe, but all very pretty.The staff are constantly doing events whether they are weddings or business meetings, so they know their stuff.If you want lots of personalized attention and hand holding the day of your wedding, you'll want to hire a planner to make sure that everything is taken care of. The staff at Chateau have a lot of things going on at once so unfortunately you don't get the undivided attention you might at a smaller place.What you do get is an efficient staff who are great at setting up and breaking down the different event spaces as well as talented at preparing and delivering delicious meals to their guests.As far as the hotel goes, it is lovely,a tad overpriced. You do have access to a beautiful golf course and luxurious spa, but of course all of those things cost extra.For brides considering getting married here, definitely check out the Holiday Inn Express right across the street for your hotel guest block. It's so close and your guests (especially your college friends!) will thank you for the more wallet-friendly option.

Chateau Elan was where I had my Wedding and Reception. The facilities were beautiful and the staff was exceptional great. The Chateau offers you a wedding planner to help you decide what are the best options for you. If you have your own wedding planner they will accommodate this as well. I chose to have my wedding in September. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous for photography purposes and ceremony settings. There were three different locations you could hold the ceremony. Two of these locations were outside, one was inside the beautiful atrium. If you wanted a more private ceremony they also offer the possibility of holding it in one of the many ballrooms. My ceremony was outside in the front of the Chateau at sunset. The setup was perfect with the backdrop being the vineyards and the beautiful fountain in front of the Chateau. We took pictures beforehand, there was no problems with taking these anywhere you wanted to on the grounds. The Chateau was very accommodating providing us with a shuttle to take the wedding party around to each location. Right after the ceremony the reception was held in the large ballroom, just a brief walk from the ceremony sight. My wedding planner had no trouble with decorating the ballroom. Anything I wanted the Chateau was glad to help with. The food was very good and the offering was wide. There were several menus you could choose from depending on your budget along with a wine and beer list. The bride and groom are given a suite at the hotel that includes champagne and deserts for the night of the wedding which was very nice. The convenience of the venue was great not only for the guest but also the wedding party. The hotel was very nice so guest could make a weekend out of it. There is also an onsite Spa, Winery, Restaurants, a Bar and Pub that can be used by the attending guest. The Chateau also offers a discount to wedding guest on rooms. The proximity of the Chateau to Atlanta was very convenient. If you have guest that have to fly in the airport is close. Also for honeymoon purposes it was easy to get to the airport the following morning. I would highly recommend visiting and ultimately making this your venue for your wedding or reception.
