Aldersgate Camp and Retreat Center provides Christian hospitality to groups of all denominations and affiliations. It is regularly used for a myriad of youth retreats, Bible studies, family reunions and retreats, arts retreats, school retreats, church picnics, family reunions, and business meetings. Aldersgate is a place to work, plan and build. The natural setting allows groups to focus on goals and objectives without distractions. Groups return to Aldersgate because of the relationships that develop while on site. Aldersgate is a place where persons and groups can mature in their sense of self-worth, discover what it means to be Christian stewards of personal and natural resources, and explore models of community that empowers people to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Aldersgate’s hallmark is kindness, generosity and hospitality. From delicious meals prepared and served by caring staff, to guided nature hikes and encouragement on the Challenge Course, Aldersgate strives to model and provide a Christian community for all. Their team of dedicated professionals is available to help make your stay especially memorable. They will help you choose the facilities that best meet your interests and budget, and assist you in arranging your program, special equipment, and recreational activities. Aldersgate operates from April through October. Spring brings warm days amid breathtaking blossoms of Lily of the Valley, fresh wild strawberries in the early summer, and the scent of pine trees, perfect weather for a canoe ride, a hike through our Bog, or fishing along the still waters of an Adirondack lake. In summer our fields are filled with the laughter of children at summer camp, and stargazing. The days are pleasant and the nights are comfortable for our Summer Programs and Retreats. Fall gives way to crisp days of Adirondack vistas of autumn colors and the opportunity to gather around the campfire. Whatever the season, Aldersgate is a beautiful place to be.
