Private Dining Room
| Maximum Capacity: 40
The Lodge was originally built by E.W. Grove in 1923 and later became the main offices and administration building for Black Mountain College before converting to the family home and central hub of our property for over 60 years. It is believed such luminaries as Albert Einstein and Buckminster Fuller stayed in the lodge during their time here and many famous artists have gotten ready inside during the LEAF Festivals over the years. Today it has new life as the central energetic hub of Lake Eden activity, available for private events with groups under 50 such as dinners, Corporate retreats, bridal or baby showers, etc. Amenities include the Game Room, The Cafe, the Music Room, Sun Room, large covered porch overlooking the stream, full kitchen, dining or meeting room, Fireplace room and much more. We’ve even added the Sanctuary Room with a Migun accupressure bed and massage table! Mountain Stream Lodge, along with many of the older buildings here on property is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Contact us for more info about booking Mountain Stream Lodge for your next group gathering.
