Terms and Conditions

Food and Beverage State licensing guidelines require that all food and beverage consumed in the hotel be supplied by the Courtyard Boston Billerica. These same restrictions prohibit us from allowing food and beverage to leave the premise. The management reserves the right to limit alcohol consumption of any guest. All bars must close by 12:00 A.M., in accordance with the hotel’s license. Guarantee Your minimum guarantee, not subject to reduction, must be confirmed to the sales office at least four business days prior to your reception, and may not be lowered. Liability The Courtyard Boston Billerica has the right to oversee and manage all catering functions. The hotel does not assume responsibility for any damages or loss of gifts, personal articles, merchandise or equipment left on property prior to, during, or after a function. Liability for damages to the premises will be charged accordingly. In compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the client assumes full responsibility for the conduct of all persons in attendance and for any damages done to any part of the hotel premises. Any guests who appear to be under the age of 30 years will be asked for identification. The host and/or hostess will be advised of any under age liquor consumption by his/her guests. The hotel reserves the right to close the bar if the guests do not maintain orderly conduct. Displays and Decorations All displays and decorations proposed by guests must be pre-approved. The hotel will not permit the affixing of anything to walls, doors, light fixtures or ceilings of any rooms with materials other than those supplied by the hotel. The hotel will not be responsible for any articles left after the event. Confetti, rice or birdseed is not permitted. There will be an applied surcharge of $150.00 clean-up fee if used. Deposit The Courtyard Boston Billerica requires a non-refundable deposit upon booking your wedding. An additional $1000 deposit will be due 6 months prior to your wedding date. The remaining balance will be due seven business days prior to the function by cashier’s check, credit card or money order. In addition a signed credit card authorization form will be required for all host bars. All deposits will be applied to your final bill. Service Charges All Food, Beverage, Audio Visual, and Room Rental prices are subject to 12% gratuity and 8% taxable administrative fee as well as 6.25% Massachusetts Sales Tax. Cancellation Courtyard by Marriott Billerica is holding the aforementioned space for the exclusive use by your group. Should the entire or partial program cancel, the Hotel will collect as liquidated damages, fees according to the following schedule: Cancellation Prior Total Estimated Revenue 0 - 90 days 100% 91 – 180 days 75% More than 180 days – forfeiture of $500 deposit
