Buona Restaurants and catering is a family owned and operated business that specializes in Italian foods. They have grown in popularity in the western suburbs of Chicago since the 1980's and their food is a favorite of many people in the area. They have more than a dozen restaurants that serve Italian Beef sandwiches, Italian sausage, pastas, paninis, and other delicious menu items. Their food is made from scratch, tastes great, is served quickly, and is very affordable. The great thing about this little company is that they have a catering department that very effectively translates the dining experience traditionally reserved for their restaurants into a service that will feed a large group of people anywhere in the city, be it for a business meeting, a birthday or graduation party, or a wedding. I recently attended the wedding of a family friend, and they went through Buona catering services to feed their guests at the wedding reception. As I was somewhat of an insider during the wedding, I was able to be ""behind the scenes"" and got a good look at how everything was set up ahead of time. Buona delivered all of the food hot in an attractively decorated company van. A crew of four unloaded the food directly into the banquet hall and arranged it quickly and attractively on the serving tables. They set up these little heating apparatuses to keep the food warm and fresh until all of the guests were ready to eat. Then, throughout the course of the meal, they served each guest as they walked through the dinner line. The food was hot, delicious, and plentiful. I would recommend this service to anyone looking for a great solution to feeding a group of people.
