Born in 1879, this building started out as a grocery store and throughout the years became a cigar store, a boxing gymnasium, and then a lounge. It is across the street from what used to be the Vincent Hotel, where Al Capone frequently rented out the entire eighth floor. Today, the Hawk’s Nest is a second story venue capable of accommodating up to 60 guests inside and 40 guests on the rooftop deck. Meticulously restored to the original brickwork with exposed ductwork and stained glass windows, the venue is the perfect marriage of industrial and vintage style. Furnished with a handcrafted bar and antique artwork, this space is ideal for rehearsal dinners, intimate weddings, birthday parties and business meetings. Just 90 miles from Chicago, we are located in the Art’s District of Benton Harbor in the heart of Southwest Michigan’s beach sunsets and fruitful vineyards. And the best part is, your party doesn’t have to end at 11:00 PM!
