This ‘Jewel of Beacon’ building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, offers an impressive great room gallery that can seat 125 in a concert format including the second-level gallery, about 100 in a standing-room or dance format, and approximately 75 to 85 seated at tables. We do not do in-house catering but work with local caterers and yours. It’s a great party space and well-suited to small weddings, rehearsal dinners, day-after brunches, concerts, recitals, classes, workshops, conferences, fundraisers, memorial services, and craft shows. The Howland Cultural Center has a very active program of art shows and performing arts. Availability is limited, but we welcome all inquiries.
Special Features:
Steinway grand piano; an exterior courtyard and garden; small outdoor tents can be erected. As one of the region's premier small performing arts houses, the Howland has excellent acoustics for musical events. A monthly art show is usually on the walls.
