Deposit: 1. A non-refundable deposit of $1000 on the booking date. The non- refundable deposit is required to guarantee a wedding reservation. Payment: 1. The final payment is required 30 days prior to the event. 2. We accept the following methods of payment: check, all major credit cards. Reservation: 1. The offer is valid for weddings with 4 to 25 guests. 2. The package is available on select dates and based on availability. 3. Bookings must be made at least 45 days prior to the event. 4. We are sorry but we cannot accommodate pets. 5. All of our properties are non-smoking. Tax and Service: 1. Applicable Maine State sales tax (8%). Accommodation: 1. Guestrooms at Sand Bar Cottage and Bass Cottage & Ullikana are not included in the “Intimate celebration” package and need to be booked separately subject to published rates, policies, and availability. Cancellation policy: 1. A minimum of 30 days prior to the confirmed event date is required in order to receive a refund of your package balance deposit (the $1,000 non-refundable deposit cannot be refunded under any circumstances). 2. Cancellations made after 30 days prior to the confirmed event date will be entirely non-refundable. 3. Cancellation notification must be sent within the required time frame in writing to kat@staybarharbor.com. Refreshments: 1. Bass Cottage & Ullikana Inn and Sand Bar Cottage Inn will provide refreshments for the confirmed guest count. 2. Outside food and beverages are not permitted unless agreed upon in writing by Stay Bar Harbor, subject to additional charges. Damages and Losses: 1. The customer is responsible for any damage to hotel property caused by event guests. 2. The customer will be billed for any missing hotel property or equipment. Force Majeure: 1. Bass Cottage & Ullikana Inn and Sand Bar Cottage Inn will not be held responsible for any failure or delay in performing their obligations due to circumstances beyond their control, such as natural disasters.
