Inverary Resort is located in the village of Baddeck, Cape Breton on the shores of the beautiful Bras d’Or Lakes. Our 11 acre property dates from the late 1800’s and with subtle hints of times past our resort proves that ambiance and charm are still apparent today. The resort features a range of accommodations, fabulous restaurants, and expansive grounds at a spectacular lakeside location! Your guests are welcome to enjoy our gardens, lawns and many services: • Relax in the Inverary Spa where our licensed estheticians add their special touch to Hot Stone massages, manicures, pedicures, and facials. • Share a laugh with the locals and guests at Narrows Café and Bar where Cape Breton talent is often playing. • Have some fun at our Lakeside Adventure Center with paddleboards, kayaks or rent our Pontoon Boat! Also enjoy our on site indoor pool, sauna, hot tub and fitness center. • Don’t forget to bring along your guitar when you stop by the nightly bonfire for some toasted marshmallows! The village of Baddeck offers unique shops, art galleries, and the Alexander Graham Bell Museum; a National Historic Site; nearby is the outstanding Bell Bay Golf Club. There is a wealth of beautiful walks, hikes and opportunities for adventure in the spectacular scenery of the local area. The fully equipped MacAulay Conference Centre can accommodate 220 guests for a seated meal. The main room has two magnificent fire places, is fully air-conditioned, has a PA system, and a dance floor and DJ area can be set up if required. The space is rented from 10:00am on the day of the event until 1:30am (Bar closes at 1am, venue to be vacated by 1:30am) the following day. Wedding menus can be provided on request. If the MacAulay Conference Centre and Lawn by the Lake are booked together, the use of the Inverary tent is included for a cocktail party after the ceremony, prior to the reception. Included in the rental of this space are the following items: - Set up of chairs & tables - White table cloths and napkins (chair covers can be rented for an additional cost) - Set up of place settings for each guest, easel provided for table plan - Podium and microphone - Gift table, signing table, cake table, and head table, all with skirting and mini-lights - Dance floor & PA system - Mantle décor on both fireplaces - Pewter centerpieces with tea lights - Table for DJ (stage can be set-up for $150 +tax; must be pre-ordered with the Event Coordinator) - Cash Bar - Security guard (during dance only) - Tear down of above items

The main room has two magnificent fireplaces. The décor and location of our centre make it suitable for board meetings, conventions, weddings, formal balls & banquets.
