Under normal circumstances, the Mermaid Cafe is home to Avalon’s hottest dance party. The recently redecorated room is both beachy and festive with large doors that open up to the outside deck and patio where you can escape to get some fresh air and converse with friends. Come party with us here on weekends throughout the summer or ask about renting out the space for your own private event. Under normal circumstances, Saturdays the Mermaid Room is home to the best happy hour at the shore with DJs and dancing all night starting at 4pm. 21st Street is the BLOCK THAT ROCKS!

The Motorboat Club Restaurant features a stellar list of 20 craft beers on tap and serves traditional American and seafood dishes with a modern flare. Reservations are accepted and recommended for parties of 6 or more. We have the space to accommodate several large parties per night and are a family friendly dining establishment (although Saturdays can get a little noisy). The Motorboat Club has both indoor and outdoor seating available as well as the full sushi menu.

The Whitebrier boasts one of the largest outdoor dining areas on the 7 Mile Island. The Octopus Garden is where the Saturday Happy Hour happens and is simply the more casual outdoor portion of the Whitebrier. With a lively atmosphere on weekends and a more relaxed vibe during the week, it is the perfect place to dine after you roll off the beach. The full food and sushi menus are available in the garden but we do not accept reservations for this portion of the restaurant. Saturdays are 21 and over only.
