I recently was delegated the task of finding a location for our company's yearly banquet. We wanted a location that was centrally located in the City of Atlanta. We wanted a place that had its own vendors so that we didn't have to hunt for a caterer, or staff. After touring a variety of venues, we opted to hold our event at the Twelve Atlantic Station Hotel. We chose this venue due to its easily accessible location, its catering staff, size of venue, and the overall look of the venue. The Twelve Hotel is a modern looking high-rise with both residential condos and hotel rooms. It has a large ballroom which is where we held our event. We were expecting around 300 attendees and knew this would be large enough for all of us. They have an event planning staff, which was great, as it eliminated a lot of the busy work for me. The catering menu is extensive and has something for everyone; it is a separate kitchen from the hotel restaurant. You are pretty much allowed to create your own menu. We opted for a few various dishes, including a grilled chicken, a steak, and a seafood plate. My favorite was the garlic mashed potatoes! They were amazing. The decor we chose was very simple but classy. It was pretty much all white with some silver accents. We were able to choose the room setup, which was great, because we had an award ceremony with a few speeches, so we wanted to make sure everyone could see. Overall, I think everyone really enjoyed it. We got great feedback on our email survey we did the following week. I'd definitely use this venue again.
