Fun atmosphere. Great deal. Highly recommend for large weddings. Approximately 400+ people at our event. We had the entire restaurant.
If you love loud, festive places that let you throw napkins in the air as often as you'd like, then Taverna Plaka on Cheshire Bridge is your place. Between the belly dancing, loud music, and napkin confetti, you might even forget this place is a restaurant. Even so, their food is delicious. It does take a long time to reach the table after you order, but like I said, there's plenty to do in the mean time. Every square inch of the place is a dance floor - including the tables. This is a great place to celebrate with friends. It's not a huge place, though, so it may be best for parties of up to 15 people or so. They have valet parking, which is convenient, and the location is easy to find. Taverna Plaka is an Atlanta tradition - if you haven't done it yet, you need to soon.
