Lauren Hemerlein is a professional harpist who plays elegant harp music for any special occasion. Lauren has been playing harp since the age of eight years old, starting out in a harp ensemble in Williamsburg, Virginia. She now studies under Monica Hargrave, a professional harpist in the Atlanta area who is the harp professor at the University of Georgia. Lauren frequently plays out at hospice homes and has played at weddings, art gallery openings, luncheons and charity and benefit events. She was the principal harpist for the Athens Youth Symphony and has played in the Athens Symphony as well. Now she currently plays with the University of Georgia Symphony Orchestra.
