The Alvarado United Methodist’s Sanctuary is a historical site that was originally built in 1885. Although the building has been restored and redecorated many times, the elegance and charm of the structure has been carefully preserved. The lancet windows with stained glass, tall spire with bell tower and the original, 450 lb. bell are still in beautiful condition. The bell can even be rung for any special occasion! Inside, the pews, the carved pulpit and the three large high-backed chairs are from the early 1900’s and are still in use today. This sanctuary is available for weddings throughout the year with seating for approximately 150 people. The Family Life Center is also available for gatherings and events with seating for approximately 100 people. Please message the church directly for pricing and all information about the facilities.
