Located in the city of Alachua, along the historical district on Main Street, the Alachua Woman’s Club is a beautiful yet affordable venue that can host up to 199 guests and be tailored to suit your special occasion. The 19th century brick building represents a piece of our history through its large front archways, wood accents throughout and glimmering chandelier’s above. And our cold AC makes this indoor location a perfect location for your next event. The AWC was built in 1936 having many upgrades over the years, but still holds the stylish yet traditional features original to the building. Here you can create an intimate ambiance for a wedding, a bridal or baby shower, family gathering, a business meeting or even host a large charity dance event with up to 200 guests. It features high ceilings, warm wood floors, expansive ballroom, a gorgeous fireplace, AV system, a large elevated stage, and a kitchen. The space also features an elegant Tea Room that can be rented separately for a smaller group or meeting space. Brides are also able to use and enjoy a comfy bridal suite for her big day.
