Special Event Bar Information
We offer a complete selection of beverages to compliment your function. Please note that alcoholic beverage sales and services are regulated by the State Liquor Control Board. The club is responsible for administration of these regulations. Therefore, it is a policy that no liquor, wine, or beer may be brought into the Club from an outside source. The legal drinking age in Ohio is 21 for alcoholic beverages. The Club will seek to comply with this law in every regard! It is Akron Woman’s City Club’s policy to refuse to serve alcoholic beverages to any person who is visibly intoxicated and will seek transportation at such person’s expense. Keys may be confiscated at the discretion of Club management. We offer a large selection of American and imported beers and wines by the glass and bottle. Ask our catering manager about our current selection of beers and to see a wine list for current brands and market prices.

***All liquor selections are inventoried before and after your event
by the manager on duty and measured to the tenth (1/10) of a bottle. The inventoried usage is billed based on current prices per bottle. Selected bottles of wine are charged for each bottle that is opened. Soda pop, canned and bottled beer, and bottled water are counted and priced individually. Juices and bar mixes are included in the Bar/ Beverage Set-up charge.***
