My husband and I had our dream wedding last summer aboard The Afton House Cruise Line. We were so happy how everything went from the planning until the last guest stepped off the ship. Beautiful setting and first rate food! It was also so convenient that they did their own catering. Not to mention, it was absolutely delicious! My husband's favorite tasty treat was the beef kabobs that we decided on for one of our appetizers. I personally liked the wild rice. They had a wide variety of appetizers and meal options to choose from. They also let us bring on our own cake from our favorite local bakery. We got stunning photos the whole evening on the beautiful St. Croix River, located in Afton, Minnesota. From sunny skies to a magnificent sunset and even a moonlight path back to the docks. We even got to take some photos of us "driving" the boat. My husband especially enjoyed sharing those pictures with everyone. We were lucky enough to even see shooting stars which sealed the night. The staff and crew were all very professional and fun. Right from the start the staff was very accommodating and thoughtful. You can tell they cater the events to each couple or party. They even let us bring in our own decorations that my friends and I made that matched our color choices. The staff helped us with ideas that were unique to a boat setting. It was very personal and special. I would recommend this company and location for any couple that loves fantastic food and adventure in an intimate setting! Two thumbs up!
