Commellini Estate is a third generation restaurant and event venue. We offer a private location surrounded by the majestic trees and tranquil sounds of Spring Creek in the Dartford Valley. This creates the perfect setting for weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events, and other special occasions. The Main Indoor Venue was originally built in 1941 and has a very rich and colorful history. It features a beautiful terrazzo dance floor, glowing wood paneling, three crystal chandeliers, and four handmade gold-leafed Corinthian columns. The Main Indoor space can seat 120 people. That being said, our average guest count for events May-October is between 150-200 people and a layout with an indoor and outdoor combination of our Portico space is common. Special Notes: There is a state of the art heating, cooling and sound system. Our sound system resides inside of the 1920 Art Deco Jukeboxes and plays in the main venue, bathrooms, bar, deck, and portico and includes a wireless microphone.

If you want an amazing outdoor wedding, we can set up your big day along the edge of Spring Creek, surrounded by lush willow trees, huge bursts of wildflowers, and the tranquil sounds of the rushing water. The creekside ceremony location can hold 120 people and includes a white Tuscan gazebo. If this space is not used for your ceremony it is a great first look location, area to set up yard games, or can be used as a cocktail hour area.

Our second indoor location and it is our most intimate event space for weddings less than 60 people, and receptions less than 30 people. In addition, this space is often used as cocktail hour and/or grooms room and features a 70 inch TV. Special Notes: Commellini Estate is known for its Prohibition past and for hiding moonshine in the many underground tunnels. This building is the front of one of the underground tunnels. We are currently working on renovations of the speakeasy bar which will be in the opening of the tunnel.

General Event Space

The gorgeous outdoor covered portico area has many uses. Most often it is used for dancing under the stars during the warm month. However, it is also used for wedding ceremonies, buffet presentations, outdoor reception, overflow seating, and band or other musician setups. The capacity for this location is 225 guests for a reception and 120 for a ceremony.
