The Vines Mansion provided the perfect backdrop for a fairytale springtime wedding. The couple was married in the arbor area where the Wisteria were in full bloom. The scene was full of southern charm and romance. The bride and groom did not have last minute jitters due to the professionalism of the staff at the Vines whose attention to detail was everywhere evident. The vows were exchanged smoothly with no last minute confusion or disruption before the ceremony. The staff at the Vines was also discreet in handling the unconventional ceremony and allowed time for a rehearsal before the actual ceremony which was a bit complex. The reception was held in the mansion, and the marble floors and draped floor to ceiling windows lent an elegance to the gala event. However, there was no sense of enforced formality or stiffness from the staff, and all the guests and their children had a wonderful time. The staff were particularly understanding about the children as there were many in attendance who readily joined in with the adults and were enjoying having free reign of the mansion. The food was good and up to par. The grounds at the Vines were perfect for photos of the wedding party, especially the fountain. Several guests strolled around the grounds after the ceremony and during the reception. The feeling of the whole celebration was as if everyone was at a country estate, far removed from the city.
My wife and I were married a little over one year ago. At the time, we were not sure where we wanted to get married, but when we visited the Vines Mansion, we fell in love with it right away. The scenery was beautiful, and there was not even an event on that day. The price was a little high compared to some of the other venues. The price was around $20,000 if I remember correctly. On the day of the wedding, the decorations looked amazing, and the scenery was stunning. I was very impressed with how the ceremony looked. The staff was great to us when they showed us around the house and the property. We also had our reception at the Vines Mansion, and that was just as good, if not better than the wedding. The staff served us very well and with very much respect. They served us quickly, and when anyone had a request, they responded as anyone would have wanted them to. The food was amazing. I cannot remember any of the guests making one complaint about the food. The setup for the dance floor was done very well also. The sound was not too loud, and the DJ did requests of songs all night. We had the party outside, and luckily the weather cooperated for us. They told us that there was a large awning we could have remained under even if it did rain, so that was not a huge worry for us. My new wife and I were very happy with the way the whole day turned out. That was a huge relief to me, because my wife was very anxious about our wedding day.
